The RS505 Road Disc Brake from Shimano is an excellently optimised road racing disc brake with a dual control lever for efficient and effective 11-Speed shifting and a flat-mount caliper.
An excellent addition to your hydraulic disc brake setup, the RS505 features Vivid Indexing which offers a consistent amount of lever force across each of the 11 sprockets on your cassette, as well as a hydraulic lever and reservoir tank for easily-controllable stopping power and enhanced performance through better pad-to-rotor clearance.
With a Flat Mount attachment system for safe and secure fitting of the calipers, as well as an easy bleed setup, efficiency is found throughout this brake build, while a reach and free-stroke adjustment handlebar position for the levers make for comfortable usage. An ergonomically designed short shift arc on the lever allows for natural hand shape and movement for additional comfort, resulting in a confidence-instilling feel and overall performance.
